Show Davis -Hilyard f " i i,.iJi.w;.iiiu.n...i Melinda K. Davis and Russ Hilyard were married April 23 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple by Pete Pratt. The bride is the daughter of Reed and Gayle Davis of 1358 N. 275 E., Centerville. Parents of the groom are Rodger and Dorothy Hilyard of Canyon Country, Calif. The couple was honored at a wedding lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory and a reception at the Chase Lane Chapel in Centerville. The bride wore a dj ess made of white crystalline fabric with pearls and sequins sewed on a high neck-i ed bodice with lace insets. The sleeves were puffed and sheered to the elbow with lacy fitted sleeves to the wrists. The skirt had several rows of ruffles on the bottom and all the way down the back to the end of the train. Her veil fell from an arrangement arrange-ment of flowers across the top of her crown. Melinda carried a bouquet bou-quet of white silk flowers dispersed with pearls, light blue flowers and medium blue ribbon roses. Maid of honor was Merilee D. Anderson, a sister of the bride. Di-anne Di-anne D. Christensen, Suzanne Hilyard and Marilee Hansen were bridesmaids, with Amy Christensen Christen-sen as flower girl. The bridesmaids wore dresses of light blue polyester satin with each one carrying a bouquet bou-quet of blue and white silk flowers. The flower girl wore a light blue poly-cotton dress etched with tiny white flowers. Mothers were dressed in light blue silky dresses with corsages of white flowers and small blue ribbon rib-bon roses mixed in. Best man duties were performed by Jerry Bateman, Mark McGreg-ory, McGreg-ory, and Benjie Clinton. Prenuptial parties were given by Cathy Thomson, Connie Jones,' Tiffany Allen, Gayle Maxwell, and Katherine Moon. The bride has attended View- MR. AND MRS. RUSS HILYARD mont High School and Brigham Young University. The groom has attended Brigham Young University Univer-sity and filled an LDS Minnesota mission. After a honeymoon to Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Southern California. |
