BLODGETT LAYTON A five-day old child was seriously injured and two other small children were less seriously hurt in a two-car accident on U.S. Highway 89 and Pinewood Drive, Layton, Tuesday night. A spokesperson for the Utah Highway Patrol in Farmington said the accident happened about 10 p.m. when one vehicle stopped to allow deer to clear from the highway and was struck from behind by another car.
