Mangum was appointed ap-pointed to the Max McGraw Chair of Economics in the College of Business. Bus-iness. The McGraw Foundation gave the University $60,000 for the purpose of bringing to the faculty a person of high academic stature who will further knowledge and interest in-terest in the free enterprise system. A native Utahn, Dr. Mangum has had extensive experience in government gov-ernment and is the author of numerous num-erous books and articles in the ... . ... ., .. , .- labor and manpower fields. He is highly accredited and is currently a member of the Advisory Council on Vocational Education, a 12-member 12-member council appointed by President Pres-ident Johnson to review the administration admin-istration of the programs of the Vocational Education Act of 1963. Dr. Mangum as a recipient of the McGraw Chair will teach classes in the Departments of Finance, Fin-ance, Business, Economics, and the College of Letters and Science. DR. GARTH L.
