Show October 30, 1969 Utah Lake will be discussed at council meet Utah Lake, its pollution problem and how to solve it, be the topic of discussion deri the Women's Legislative Council meets Thursday, November No-vember 6, at 9:30 a.m. at the Women's Cultural Center in provo, according to Mrs. Richard Rich-ard Call, chairman. nr. David White, assistant professor of Zoology at Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University will trace the history of Utah Lake and how it reached its present dllema. He will explain what Utah Lake means financially, I as a recreation asset, as a wa-j wa-j ter storage reservoir and how n affects climate. nr. White is one of several I gYU associates who are re-j re-j marching Utah Lake and who have become vitally concerned with the problems created by pollution. Special guest at the meeting vill be. Maurice Watts, adjutant adju-tant general of the Utah Na-( Na-( tional Guard, who will direct a flag ceremony and lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
