Show Mount Maple Post meets monthly Mount Maple Post 51 of the American Legion in Mapleton held its annual meeting at which the legal officers of the post were presented. It was announced that the Legion post will have a blood bank. An invitation is extended to all veterans to attend the meetings of the Legion which are held the third Wednesday of each month in the new Mapleton Ma-pleton City building beginning at 8 p.m. It has become unfashionable to say this; it may be embarrassing embar-rassing to hear it ; but I believe that America is the most lovely and livable of all nations. I believe, be-lieve, that Americans are the kindest and most generous of all people. I believe that there are no underprivileged Americans; Amer-icans; that even the humblest of us are born with a privilege that places us ahead of anyone any-one else, anywhere else : the privilege of living and working work-ing in America, or repairing and renewing America; and one more privilege that no one seems to get much fun out of lately the privilege of loving America.
