Show Cougars face Arizona in homecoming tilt BYU, fresh from a 30-7 victory vic-tory over UTEP and a team that has suddenly developed a real appetite for the taste of victory, is hoping to serve up more of the same this Saturday for Cougar homecoming fans in attendance for the Arizona game. A crowd of more than 25,000 is expected to watch the Wildcats, Wild-cats, who have won two straight, battle the surprising Cougars who are 3-2 in the WAC standings. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Boasting one of the better defenses in the Rocky Mountain-Southwest, the Cougars will have their hands full trying try-ing to apply the brakes to Arizona's Ar-izona's offense. The Wildcats proved they can pile up the points last Saturday Sat-urday night in Tucson when they rolled over New Mexico, 52-28. The two teams had a combined total of over 1,000 yards total offense, which is a pretty good indication chat the Y's homecoming guests can move the ball. I I |
