Show Xake-lt-Yourself with Wool' contest open to young girls Sew now! Plan your getaway get-away today! Is the American Wool Council's encouragement to young dressmakers. The Make-It-Yourself with Wool competition this year offers a European vacation to winners in both the junior and senior divisions a trip to London, Rome, Germany and all the exciting places in between. ' There's still time to enter the MIYWW Contest. This is the chance of a lifetime for fashion conscious young girls with above average sewing ability to win all expense paid trip to Europe, college scholarships, government bonds, deluxe sewing machines and many other exciting awards. To enter, a girl must make an outfit of 100 wool fabric loomed or knitted in America, then model it before a panel of local judges. Generous prizes are awarded at each level of the contest, culminating in the National Finals, to be held in January, 1970, in Denver, Colorado, Col-orado, in conjunction with the Annual Convention of the National Na-tional Wool Growers Association. Associa-tion. Make-It-Yourself With Wool is sponsored by the American Wool Council, and the Women's Auxiliary to the National Wool Growers Association and is endorsed en-dorsed by the National Association Associ-ation of Secondary School Principals. It is the only sewing sew-ing contest so honored. The contest for District II, comprising the south end of Utah County, south of Oram will be held December 13, at the Women's Club House in Provo. The State Contest will be January 8, in the Lafayette Ballroom in Hotel Utah, Salt Lake City. Deadline for entries is December 1.
