Show Kristine Childs Paul Antonino Junior high names 'Good Citizens' Kristine Childs Kristine Childs, an attractive and friendly ninth grader was chosen as a "Citizen of the Week" at Springville Junior High School. A daughter of Maurine Childs, she is the sixth in their family of seven children. chil-dren. Kristine enjoys school and especially her A.P. English class. She maintains a high scholastic average. Outdoor sports especially appeal ap-peal to her including horseback riding, skiing, and swimming. She has been one of the cheer leaders for the G. S. Wood football team in the Little League series this fall. Included in her hobbies are sewing, cooking, playing the I piano, and reading. Active in her church, Kris-tine Kris-tine has won two individual awards for her participation. Son of Neno and Ar- j lene Antonino, Paul is the third j of six children. He is an active participant in most sports. He has played right halfback on the Rotary football team which just won j first place this season. Last ! winter he palyed basketball tor I Mapleton First Ward which ; took first in Kolob Stake and second in the two stake competition. com-petition. He played on the Art j City Pony League baseball team as second baseman. This team placed second last summer. sum-mer. A special honor came to him last winter when he won a first I place trophy in beginning skiing. ski-ing. A hobby that Paul particu- j larly enjoys is art work includ- ing painting and also sculptur- j ing in wood or clay. He likes school especially his j P.E. and English classes, and j maintains a good average. Paul enjoys Scout activities ; and is working for his Eagle Award. W. Merrill Hymas, manager of Mountain Bell's American Fork office from 1960 to 1963, has been named to serve as Provo district manager, man-ager, a position formerly held by Jack J. Dalton who has been given a new position posi-tion in Salt Lake City. Under his new position, Hyman will have under his supervision all Mountain Bell business offices from American Fork south to St. George. (After working at American Fork he worked in Denver. He began be-gan at Mountain Bell in 1955 |
