Show Women may take TV clothing selection course Does your dress express the way you really feel about yourself? When you buy clothes, do you know how to select design most becoming to you ? Do you feel confident confi-dent that the colors you choose compliment your natural coloring? col-oring? Mrs. Irene Thomson of Utah County Extension Services Serv-ices of Utah State University said that an Extension television televis-ion short course entitled "Dressing "Dres-sing by Design" aims to help women confidently meet such clothing selection questions and make clothes an enjoyable part of their lives. A series of five programs will be broadcast over KUED Channel 7, beginning February 7 at 8:50 a.m. Each program will be repeated Wednesday evenings, the first on February Febru-ary 12 at 10:40 pm., all others at 10:00 p.m. The five weekly programs will discuss silhouette, lines, texture, color, and a combination combina-tion of all in developing a personalized per-sonalized wardrobe. Special assistance will also be given to those who register for the short course in a series of workshops. A registration fee for Dressing Dress-ing by Design is required. A packet of material accompanies the course. Mail to the County Extension Office at 75 East First South in Provo. Mary Jane Bird Palfreyman has arrived in Lybia, North Africa, Af-rica, to join her husband, Lt. Grant H. Palfreyman, who is stationed in the Air Force there. He has been assigned for one and a half years. Mrs. Palfreyman is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Bird while Lt. Palfreyman is the soon of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Palfreyman. |
