Show LaRee Olsen Oakcy LaRee 0. Oakey dies Wednesday of brief illness L3Ree Olsen Oakey, 43, of 45 B Street, Brookide, died Wednesday morning, February 5, 1969 at 10:15 a.m. at the Utah Valley Hospital of a brief Ulnes. She was admitted to the hospital the previous after- noon. She was born December 17, 1925 in Pleasant Grcve, the daughter of Albert J. and Jenav Smith Olsen. She was married to Glen S. Oakey, September 21, 1946 at Pleasant Grove. They were , later la-ter divorced. Mrs. Oakey has been active in Sunday School, Primary, MIA and Relief Society holding hold-ing teacher positions as well as sharing her musical talent as director and accompanist. She has been employed at the high school for the past few years as a matron. Funeral. arrangements at press time were pending and will be announced by the Wheeler Mortuary. Survivors include Mrs. Brent (Venace) Bird; Daniel Bruce, Glen Dale, Kaylene, Steven and Marjorie Ann, all of Springville; Spring-ville; a son, Bert S. Oakey now serving in Vietnam; two grandchildren; grand-children; the following brothers and sisters: B. Marvin Olsen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Harry (Margaret) Zook, State College. Col-lege. Pennsylvania; Mrs. Steve (Mary Ellen) Miller, Yuma Arizona; Dr. Lyman Olsen' Berkeley, California; Charles R. Olsen, Las Vegas, Nevada. Polio, TB and other diseases modern medicine can prevent or cure still kill or cripple countless persons in doctor-poor nations. |
