Show Parri Passu Club tours remedial center A discussion of and tour through the Remedial Center School by Principal Paul Beckstrom and slides of the facilities offered at the Jefferson Jef-ferson School Building were included in-cluded in the Pari Passu Club program held November 20. Mr. Beckstrom pointed out the facilities and services that ore available at the communications communi-cations and remedial center for those students who may need these facilities. Students are normally recommended by the teachers for testing before being be-ing accepted for enrollment. There are 38 full time students now" at the school. Many part time students are using the services also. BYXT and the University of Utah use facilities facili-ties of the center to train students stu-dents in the remedial program. It is financed through a 3-year federal grant and much valu- able equipment has been ac-quirred ac-quirred making it one of the finest centers in the west. Following a visit to the center cen-ter and the illustrated talk by Principal Beckstrom, members returned to the home of Anna Ostlund where she and assisting assist-ing hostess, Eula Riding, served serv-ed a tray lunch to 12 members.
