Ilr. and Mrs. Eldon Single-a Single-a had Mr. and Mrs. Guy Schow of Porowan and daughter daugh-ter as their dinner guests last Wednesday. They are relatives of Mrs. Singleton. Also attending attend-ing was Velva Christenson of Orem. A birthday party and Thanksgiving were held the same day at the home of Mrs. Ruby Lessard. Mrs. Lessard's daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Jackson and three children came fromg Magna and David celebrated his sixth birthday. Also Mr. and Mrs. Gary Carter and four children came to their grandmother's home for the occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Fullmer traveled to the home of Warren Martells in Orem to have a turkey dinner. Mrs. David Fullmer Sr., had a very nice Thanksgiving Day when David Jr. and family came from Ogden, bringing his father who has been in the hospital for many months, home for the day. Also Richard came from Salt Lake to spend th day with the family. Mr. Fullmer had to return to the hospital for further treatment. Army Private First Class John H. Parkin, 18 son of Mrs. Naomi Parkin has been assigned assign-ed as a field artilleryman with the First Cavalry Division (Airmobile) in Vietnam, recently. re-cently. The annual Christmas party for the handicapped children and adults for all Utah County will be held December 14, at the Eldred Center in Provo, at 6:00 p.m. Dinner will be served and Santa Claus will appear. This is one of the annual an-nual parties they have for the handicapped people according to Vera Singleton, president of the chapter. Each family is responsible for the children and they are looking forward to a big turn out for the occasion. |
