Show Drawing for prizes planned Saturday Adding to the excitement of the Christmas season here Saturday, December 7, will be the first of two drawings for a bicycle, tricycle tri-cycle and wagon which are being given away by the Retail Merchants Committee of the Chamber of Commerce. Com-merce. The drawing will be held at 2 p.m. at Second South and Main Street and will be under the direction of Larry Burningham, chairman, and W.. L. Snelson, Maury Thomas and Bob McConnell, members. Persons must be present to win, Mr. Burningham pointed out. The following Saturday, December 14, the second set of vehicles will be awarded at the same time and place. The opening of the official Christmas shopping season last Friday was welcomed with the early arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus on the fire engine.
