Show Funeral services held Tuesday for Ed Dunn, 76 Services were held Tuesday in the Third-Ninth Wprd directed direc-ted by Bishop Glenn B. Orton, for Edward Dunn, 76, who died November 29, 1968 at the Utah Valley Hospital. Burial was in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery, Cem-etery, directed by Wheeler Mortuary. Mor-tuary. A retired businessman, "Ed" as he was always known, was born March 7, 1892 in Eureka, the son of William and Har-1 Har-1 riett Jane Collard Dunn. He 5 married Sarah Jane Packard on May 29, 1911 in Provo. i Their marriage was later sol- j emnized in the Manti Temple. Mr. Dunn was an elder in ! the LDS Church. He owned and operated a service station and : garage in Springville for 56 i years. He was a volunteer fire man for many years and was j a former member of the Springville Kiwanis Club. Prior i to his death he was a member of the senior citizens club. He ; was an active outdoorsmen and loved hunting, j Mr. Dunn was the father of ; ten children, nine of whom survive: Mrs. Frank (Juanita) Larabee; Elmer Edward Dunn; Mrs. Merrill (Francis) Stone; Raymond Dee Dunn; Mrs. Beverly Bev-erly Montague, all of Springville; Spring-ville; William Packard Dunn of i, Mill Valley, Calif.; Mrs. Kamls j (Eva) Nelson of Orem; Nor- j man L. Dunn of Portland, Or- j egon; and Mrs. Robert F. !j (Norma Jean) Anderson of j Pleasant Grove; 36 grandchlld- j ren, 25 great grandchildren ' Mrs. Harry (Fern) Sherwood j of Burbank, California. |
