Show brevities . . . Mr. and Mrs. Lee E. Davis enjoyed their family for Mother's Moth-er's Day dinner Sunday. Ted and Marjory Davis and five, children, Nancy, Cindy, Deon, Brad and Janalee from Salt Lake; Vern and Helen Davis and son Byron, also two daughters daugh-ters Mrs. Kathryn D. Beers and'daughter, Lisa from Provo; Mrs. Gwen D. Henkel and two children from Tempe, Arizona were in attendance. Two Springville girls, Jeanne Coker and Dusty Collings were members of a Job's Daughters choir that won first place in competition with 13 other Bethels Beth-els in Salt Lake City at the annual Job's Daughter's Rally. It was the first time in years of competition that Bethel No. 4, Provo won the trophy for choirs. A former Springville resident, Sharon Huntington, was the conductor. The girls also took part in the drill team exhibition and skit competition and stayed over-night in Salt Lake in the homes of sister job's Daughters. They also joined in with the business meetings and . ceremonies for the 2-day meet of about 700 Job's Daughters. |
