Show Junior High Citizens ot the Week' Gloria Gardner Two older broters, competitive competi-tive by nature, have been a great influence on their sister, Gloria Gardner. Gloria is a daughter of Allen and Melba Gardner and is an outstanding citizen of the school. A younger brother is also in the competition. compe-tition. Gloria likes to cook and sew. Reading is her favorite past-time past-time if she doesn't have to do it. She loves all sports and is currently a song leader. She goes around the house cheering ing while her brothers go around swinging golf clubs. Each evening she plans her time so there will be time for everything including television. Gloria is outstanding in aU she does. I Jim Hopkinson Jim is not a native, but he is an asset to our school. He is the son of Mr .and Mrs. A. Gary Hopkinson. He was born in Minnesota and moved to Utah a few years ago. Six sis-ters sis-ters have kept Jim in line. He has one brother who is on his side. He enjoys gas powered mod-els, mod-els, slot racing and radio. He would like to be a ham oper. ator some day. He is a mem-ber mem-ber of the basketball squad and has been a student policeman and is a trombone player ft the band. Jim is currently serving as seminary president and is active ac-tive in church and Scouting. To see Jim in the halls is to see a responsible young gen. tleman living up to the rules and regulations. Humor depends largely upon whether you are the maker or the receiver of the joke. One thing that fiction often has on life is the happy ending. |
