Show Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sanford feted at wedding reception The Salt Lake Temple was the setting for the marriage of Miss Janette Henderson, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Henderson of Edinburgh, Scot land and Ray Sanford of Springville, Thursday, Dec. 29. After a short honeymoon, the groom is leaving for officers training school at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and the bride will continue her work and residence resi-dence in Salt Lake City. For the reception, the bride was elegantly gowned in a white lace tiered dress designed with full flowing train of chiffon chif-fon and elbow-length sleeves. Her veil of nylon net was arranged ar-ranged to a crown of seed perals and she carried a bridal bouquet bou-quet of white orchids and rose-"buds. rose-"buds. Attending her as matrons of honor were Mrs. Colleen Dun-ford, Dun-ford, Mrs. Diane Golf both of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Lorna Ivie of Richland, Wash. Little, Cherrie Dunford was flower girl. They were attired in blue brocaded silk floor-length gowns and carried a single white mum with pink tint. Mrs. Sanford chose turquoise for the reception with corsage of white orchids and pink carnations. car-nations. Larry Sanford was best man for his brother. Fred Dunford and Dee Montague were ushers. At the guest register were Mrs. Lynnae Sanford of Spanish Span-ish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard James greeted guests at the door. A beautiful 3-tiered wedding cake of white with light blue trim topped with white wed-idng wed-idng bells, added to the decor for the reception. Serving were Veronica Rose, LuAnn Gustavson, Mary Ellen Sanford, and Marjorie Sanford. Mrs. Nanette Hansen and Mrs. Jen Kapp were hostesses over the serving. In the gift room were Mrs. Susan Conneeh of Provo, Mrs. Carrie Jolley of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Norma Gustavson. Background organ music was played during the evening by Bill Kapp. NEW MRS. KAY SANFORD, the former Miss Jannetto Henderson of Edinburgh, Scotland, married in temple rites. |
