Show BYU swimmers in two meets Coach Walt Cryer and the BYU swim team will host the Western State College swimmers swim-mers Friday at 8 p.m. in the sparkling Cougar swimming pools. Following this dual meet the Cougars will play host to the University of Wyoming Saturday, Jan. 14, at 2 p.m. in the Stephen L. Richards physical physi-cal education building in a second sec-ond dual meet. The Y swimmers swim-mers will follow this meet with one against Utah on the 21st at BYU. Brigham Young University's swim team, just two years in competition, is beginning to show championship form. Satu-day Satu-day evening in the Denver Relays Re-lays the BYU swimmers won six of eight races and placed second in diving to win the Denver Relays. BYU scored 105 points, Wyoming Wy-oming and Denver tied for sec- ona wiLn t , Air ruiw emy 59, and Colorado State College, 36. Of the six first places the BYU relay teams set records in four of the winning efforts. |
