Show Companions entertain for daughters Mrs. Barbara Jacobs of Pro-vo Pro-vo gave a talk on manners on the phone, at introductions and on other occasions, at the meeting of the Companions Club Thursday at the home of Shirley Thorn. Janice Hunter was co-hostess and Maryn Ja-cobsen Ja-cobsen was in charge of the program. The guest speaker, mother of five and author of a book, "What Do I Do Now?" gave interesting information about her family and their residence in Europe two years. She was assisted in giving the program by her daughter, Jeneen, and a friend. It was a mothers and daughters daugh-ters night program with the following mothers and their young guests attending: Lynn Brown and daughter, Lynda; Beverly Clark and Kay, Joye Gledhill and Rebecca, Vera Goodrich and Susan, Janice Hunter and Andrea, Maryn Jacobsen and Ann and Jane, Norma Jenkins and Jane, Mary Martindale and Lori Eileen Memory and Sharon, Shar-on, Elaine Puckett and Joan. Elaine Peirce and Diane Rob-bins, Rob-bins, Donna Ralphs, Charlene; Joan Rawlinson and Debbie, Evelyn Robbins and Kay, Barbara Bar-bara and Mary Ann; Bonnie Snelson and Maurine, Dorothy Stewart and Karen and Jane, LaRae Stewart and Carolyn, Annalee Strong and Mariana, Naomi Sumsion and Susan and Ann, Oneita Sumsion and Stephanie, Shirley Thorn and Mrs. Pat Ellis and Janet Thorn, Jeri Winger and Lee Ann. Refreshments were served at the close of the program and the next meeting announced for Feb. 5 to be in the form of a dinner for the husbands at 7:30 p.m., at BYU. |
