Show Spring semester evening classes offered students Four thousand students from this area attended evening classes at Brigham Young University Uni-versity in Provo during the Fall Semester just completed. University officials expect that a similar number will register reg-ister for spring classes. Registration Reg-istration for the Spring Semester Sem-ester begins Jan. 29, and will continue through Feb. 1. Residents of Utah Valley, Salt Lake Valley and other areas ar-eas in Utah close to the school are particularly encouraged by BYU to register for the spring program. Over 300 classes will be offered by 50 departments of the University. A two-year technical program pro-gram is available in Business and Office Management, accounting, ac-counting, commercial art, Electronic Elec-tronic Engineering, genealogical genealog-ical Research, Home Technician, Techni-cian, Industrial Technician and photographic technology. Certificates in these programs pro-grams can be earned completely complete-ly through evening school. The BYU Department of Ed- ucation also offers six different differ-ent programs leading to the master's degree, also through evening classes. The evening school offers a summer- program for high school graduates requiring English, En-glish, history and other subjects sub-jects for university entrance. |
