Show Jaycee Wives conduct meets President Geraldine Cook of the Jaycees Wives conducted short business at a regular dinner-meeting held Wednesday of last week. Myrna Jeffers and her color group arranged details for the meeting attended attend-ed by eleven club members. At the board meeting on Monday evening, at the home of President Cook, the girls discussed a project of making Halloween candy as a project. Barbara Thorpe was appointed chairman of the project and will be assisted by Karen Hol-ley, Hol-ley, co-chairman, in charge of tickets. Refreshments were served at the close of the meeting. Sir. and Mrs. Ralph J. Haws, (Betty Bringhurst) of Tooele, formerly of Springville, were guests Tuesday of last week at a special art exhibit and tea, at the Continental Bank Building, Salt Lake City, in which Mrs. Haws had several sev-eral oil paintings. She is a student stu-dent of Simon Horace Pickering Picker-ing of Salt Lake and a special spec-ial feature of the afternoon was presentation by Mr. Pickering Pick-ering of a painting of Mr. Rampton to the governor. |
