Show Alpha Beta Club plans luncheon The Alpha Beta Club will hold a Christmas party in the form of a luncheon, Friday at 1 p.m., Mrs. C. W. Harrison. Mrs. Harmon Hatch and Mrs. G. Ray Hales will be hostesses hostess-es at the home of Mrs. Hale's daughter, Mrs. Hal Clyde, 908 Hillcrest Drive. The preceding meeting was at the home of Mrs. W. W. Brockbank, where Elaine Swartz of Provo furnished the program on the possibilities of the handicapped. During her talk, in which she emphasized the importance of the handicapped handi-capped making the most of their abilities and talents, a victim of cerebral palsey, Elaine Dart, demonstrated how she could type, knit and write a letter with her toes. All should be aware of the program pro-gram in which the handicapped are helped, Mrs. Schwartz explained. ex-plained. The ladies sang Christmas songs, led by Mrs. Earl Condie. Mrs. H. T. Reynolds, Jr., led in a pledge to the flag and Mrs. W. W. Clyde read the club collect. Refreshments were served by the hostess at the close of the program. Mrs. A. T. Ja-cobsen Ja-cobsen and Mrs. Grace Gardner of Spanish Fork were special guests. |
