ROBERT BROOKS MORRIS whose recent marriage was a highlight of West Coast nuptial news. She is the former Miss Patricia Michelle Exline of Arcadia, California. Daughter of former residents recites vows in coast rites Carmel and Monterey and are home at 944 Arcadia Ave., Arcadia, Ar-cadia, California. The bride graduated from Whittier High School and from Pasadena City College and is psat president of the Phenix Sorority. The bridegroom graduated grad-uated from Pasadena High School and Pasadena State College and is founder and past president of Sigma Epsilon Chi fraternity. News reached here this week of the marriage of the daughter daugh-ter of former residents of Springville, which took place in Pasadena, California. The bride is Miss Patricia Michelle Exline, daughter of Paul C. and Maxine Bowen Ex-line Ex-line of Arcadia, Calif., She is also the granddaughter of Elizabeth Taylor Bowen and the late David M. Bowen. Mrs. Bowen spends the summers here with a niece, Mrs. Mae Huntington. Miss Exline was married to Robert Brooks Morris, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Brooks T. Morris Mor-ris of Los Angeles and a grandson of the late Samuel B. Morris nationally prominent civil engineer for whom the Morris Dam was named and Mrs. Morris. The Rev. Edward Mills performed the ceremony. The nuptials took place at All Saints Episcopal Church at Pasadena and was followed by a reception attended by some 300 guests. The bride was attired in a Peau de Soie sheath with re-embroidered re-embroidered seed pearls on a flowered front panel with full skirt. A coronet of pearls held a full-flowing net veil and her bouquet was of butterfly orchids, or-chids, stephanotis and pearls. Matron- of honor was Mrs Melvin Butcher, Arcadia, with Susan Crasper and Susan Reynolds Rey-nolds of Pasadena, Cynthia Pool of San Gabriel and Mrs, Robert Toothman of Altadena, bridesmaids. Plum colored velvet vel-vet was worn by the matron of honor and other attendants were in green velvet, all with white fur hats and white fur muffs trimmed with orchids. Todd Frazier was best man while Donald Kuntzman, Kenneth Ken-neth Banthrum, John Cross, William Pasquini, David and John Morris, brothers of the groom, were ushers. The couple honeymooned in |
