Fire conditions reach extreme Burning conditions along the Wasatch Frontal area of the Uinta National Forest are rapidly approaching the extreme. ex-treme. This area was closed July 1, 1964, to smoking and fires, except in improved recreational rec-reational areas, by order of the Regional Forester. The Spanish Fork Ranger District of the Uinta National Forest will comply with this closure. It urges all citizens interested in-terested in the forest, and its varied uses, abide with this ruling along the Wasatch Front and that they use extreme ex-treme care while traveling the other sections of the forest during this period of high temperatures tem-peratures and little rainfall. Ranger Ward wishes to express ex-press thanks and appreciation for the cooperation and success suc-cess the forest has enjoyed. To date this year, the district has a record of no man-caused fires.
