The first few weeks at home the baby gets to know you, and you learn a few things about him, too. Most important, import-ant, you learn that he is an individual with likes and dislikes dis-likes and a willingness to express ex-press them. Also, you will discover dis-cover that he is rather sturdy and won't break with reasonable reason-able handling. He needs lots of sleep, but awakes often and hungry.
