Hales of Maple-ton, Maple-ton, going to Australian Mission, will be honored at farewell, Sunday night, at 7 Farewell set Sunday for Mapleton man A farewell program will be held in the Mapleton Second Ward Sunday evening, Aug. 23, for Merrill M. Hales, son of Mr. and Mrs. Reid M. Hales who has been .called to the Australian LDS Mission. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. Speakers for the farewell include in-clude Raymon Hales and Hal Taylor of Kolob Stake presidency, presi-dency, Bishop Carlos Hjorth and parents of the missionary. The missionary will respond. There will be a vocal solo by LaVere Tippetts. Other music mu-sic will be by the congregation. Evelyn Allan will furnish prelude pre-lude and postlude music. The invocation will be by Bruce Palmer and the benediction benedic-tion by Wayne Johnson. Others serving missions from the ward, are: Ray Bennett, North British; Mont Court, New Zealand, South; Edward Wiscombe, Eastern States; Terry Hjorth, East Central States; Bryan Burt, Central British Carol Lane Lindsay, Cumorah; Allen Hall, New Zealand. |
