Show Police officers nab three after burglary Quick action and cooperation coopera-tion among law enforcement officers in two counties made possible the apprehension of three suspects in the burglarizing burglariz-ing of a Sterling, Sanpete County, store just an hour after, af-ter, the burglary occured, Wednesday Wed-nesday morning. This was a statement made by Springville Chief of Police Ashley Graham, burglary of the Sterling store also Christensen's store and the post office at Redmond, Sevier County. A collection of men's shirts, jackets, boots and shoes and other items were found in the car. An absurdity seen in. the collection- of shoes -and 'boots, was that they were all for the same foot. The three men were taken to Sanpete County for arraignment. as he and other officers unloaded un-loaded the loot found in the suspect's automobile. When Deputy Sheriff Eugene Eu-gene Tuttle at Manti received a call from Evan Thomas, Sterling marshall, at 2:45 a.m., Wednesday,, he, in turn called the State Highway Patrol 'at Provo. They called the Springville Spring-ville and Spanish Fork police and a road block was set up at Thistle and Nephi. At 3:45 a.m., Howard Za-briskie, Za-briskie, Spanish Fork police, and Howard Allan, Springville police officer with Clark Nelson, Nel-son, deputy sheriff, apprehended apprehend-ed three men in a late model Chevrolet as they jumped from their car and ran up the hill near Tlustle. The men gave their names as Stanley R. Hansen, 26, Granger; Lynn Smith, 30, and Scott Hansen, 19, both of Salt Lake City. The three are suspects in the I |
