The general deer season was let for October 17 through October 27, with animals of iither sex legal game. A ihorter season of five days vas set in four herd units and onger seasons were scheduled or 25 of the state's 62 deer herd areas. A statewide archery deer lunt was scheduled for August !2 through Septemebr 7, -hough a limitation of archery aermits for two units was decreed de-creed as an experiment to "?ain greater distribution of mnters. Elk hunts were set for 12 ierd units with a total allo-ation allo-ation of 2425 permits. On line of the units the hunt will ,tart September 19, with later easons set for three units. Antelope will be legal game r 110 permit holders on five i-erd units during a season of kugust 22, 23, 24 and August h, 30 and 31.
