Show Home Culture Club has special program Mrs. Lorin Jones of Provo, who with her husband, has worked with the Indians and the people of Mexico for a number of years, presented a most interesting program for members of the Home Culture Club, when they were entertained enter-tained Friday afternoon, at the home of Mrs. Harrison Con-over. Con-over. Three BYU students comprising compris-ing Efran Flores of Colonial, Du Blan, Mexico; Carlos Fu-entes Fu-entes of Salpillo, Mexico; and Leony Yuway of Honduras, accompanied ac-companied Mrs. Jones and sang and played Mexican music. Mrs. Jones was also accompanied accompan-ied by her husband. She told of their many interesting inter-esting experiences with the people of the south land and in connection with her remarks showed a number of beautiful and unique pieces of Mexican jewelry, pottery and other items. Mrs. Jones also made special programs for the meeting. meet-ing. , Thirty two members and guests were in attendance to enjoy the delightful afternoon. It was announced at the meeting that the executive committee had met and appointed ap-pointed Mrs. Ronald Thorpe, secretary, succeeding Mrs. Emily Em-ily Anderson, who has been ill !for a number of weeks. ! Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Nielson Niel-son entertained Sunday for their daughter, Karma (Mrs. Leo Mecham) of Spanish Fork, on the occasion of her birthday. .Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Nielson and family were also special guests.
