Show Former resident dies in Ogden Mrs. Lula Hutchings Burk, 71, a former resident of Springville, Spring-ville, died in Ogden, Jan. 13, 1964, of a heart attack, according accord-ing to word received here. She was born in Springville, June 10, 1892, a daughter of Chester and Elizabeth Smith Hutchings, and spent her early life in this city. She later became be-came a registered nurse. She was married March 3, 1915, to Darrell Burk in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs. Burk had been superintendent super-intendent of nurses at the Dee Hospital in Ogden and had served as president of the nurses nurs-es association. Surviving are her husband of Ogden; one son in Bellvue, 111.; also two grandsons and the following brother sand sisters: following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Preal Hjorth and Mrs. Mrs. Blanch Bown and Willis Hutchings, Provo; Earl and Edward Ed-ward Hutchings, Mrs. Jessie Maxwell and Mrs. Estella Dult of Salt Lake City. Funeral services and burial will be in Ogden. |
