Show 'Shoe' tourney ends Horseshoe pitchers from Utah and Nevada pitched in the Second annual Cedar City Open Saturday at the City Park. The Class "A" mens championship saw Dennis Ohms, last years champion repeat as this year's champ. The women's champion went to a Salt Lake pitcher, pit-cher, Peggy Overbay. She nudged-out last year's champion Carol Ohms by a couple of points. The Mens class "B" championship was won by Genie Brown of Hurricane. Brown and Lorin Condie were both tied lor first place. At that point total ringers were counted and Brown came up the victor by one ringer. Mens Class "C" was lought out by two players. Barry Johnson came out the winner on a best of three games with Val Shakespeare. Horseshoe Tournament Results Won Loss Ring. Per.
