Show Letters to the editor No to MX Editor: President Ronald Reagan will soon be making a decision concerning MX missile deployment. . Because our representative government's vitality and success depend with President Reagan and express support of his stand in opposition to Utah-Nevada deployment.. President Reagan has voiced serious reservations concerning the cost of Utah-Nevada land-based MX deployment, its effectiveness, and its impact of the West. President Reagan needs to know that we admire his firmness firm-ness and know that he will not bow to heavy political and special interest pressures that have come to bear upon him. We also need to let the White House know that a scaled-down version of land-based deployment in Utah and Nevada is unacceptable and is seen for what it truly is, "just a foot in the door." The time for action is now. Public opinion messages may be left at the White House by telephoning (202 ) 456-1414. 456-1414. A Western Union telegram of twenty words or less cost $4.25 and is sent by telephoning 1-800-648-4100. Letters may be sent to President Reagan, The White House, Washington, IIC, 20500. (Ask for a White House staff reply or correspondence will simply be re-routed to Air Force representatives. ) The MX deployment' decision deserves our involvement and timely input. Thank you.
