Show Enterprise grants contract for City water improvement By LARUE DANNELLY Record Correspondent ENTERPRISE - The Enterprise City Council has awarded the contract for the city water im provement project to Clegg Construction Company of Orem. The estimated cost of the project is about $238,000. The work on the project should commence in early September of this year, according to Lyle Jones Enterprise City mayor. When the project is completed the three water storage tanks will l)e linked by a network of water lines. Every north-south north-south lateral water line would have six inch pipes. Various sections of Enterprise have chronically suffered water shortages and low pressure. These new improvements should alleviate this problem. Specifications for the project also call for upgrading the two city-owned city-owned springs south of Enterprise. The springs will be fenced and new collector boxes will be installed. A chlorinating unit will be installed at the head-house head-house south of town ' |
