Show Thunderbirds at Hill AfD Open House The world famous Thun-derbird Thun-derbird Air Demonstration Squadron will fly the skies of Utah May 9th, when Hill AFB celebrates its 40th Anniversary An-niversary with an open house. Gates to the major Air Force installation will open at nine a.m. to enable visit - ors to view and photograph modern and vintage aircraft on display at the fllghtllne. Among the demonstrations will be the Wings of Blue parachute team and Wild ' Blue Country band unit from the Air Force Academy. State and local officials will join with Air Force leaders in special ceremonies ceremon-ies to commemorate the contributions con-tributions made to the nation's defense by the base in partnership with Utah citizens citi-zens throughout the past four decades.
