Show WATER SUPPLY OUTLOOK MAY 1 April precipitation was be -low normal in the central portion of the state (50 to 80) for the fifth consecutive consecu-tive month, increasing to well above normal in the southern mountains (100 to 200). Seasonally, precipitation precipi-tation in the Sevier Basin has been near normal through the mountains but below normal in valley areas. The southern mountains, however, have received above normal accumulations, ranging from 100 to 150. The Beaver River has had a flow for the water year to date of 7,400 acre -feet, 82 of normal. Residual forecasts fore-casts (May through Sept.) for the Sevier River are 80 to 90 of normal; the Beaver River at Beaver, 86; and Coal Creek near Cedar City, 103. |
