This would mean no levy could be set before 1977 )d no taxes collected before November of that year. This means that the districts will sot be functional until 1978. In other business, the Commissioners agreed to investigate in-vestigate the property line of the county jail to see if there Is an infringement on Kirk Jones right-of-way for an irrigation ditch to his motel. Red Wilson met with the Board and asked about a dis -play at the Utah State Fair. He said that the cost to re-serve re-serve the space and to purchase pur-chase a neon sign would be around $60.00 and that the application needed to be sent in right away. The display will le handled through the Beaver Comity Fair Board, and the Commission agreed to have the space reserved. Incorporation of the Fair Board as a non-profit organization organ-ization was also discussed. A letter was received from John C. Willie itemizing the cost of his services for preparation prep-aration of new ordinances for the county and the matter was tabled until Mlnersville Town and Beaver City can lie contacted to see if they want to participate. They also authorized purchase pur-chase of blood pressure equipment for County Health Nurse; Authorized transfer of County's share of low income in-come housingemergency appropriation ap-propriation to Milford. Beaver Beav-er City got the last appropriation approp-riation and Minersville will get it next. The sum is $266; Paul Koenig of Emergency Emer-gency Relief Services met and discussed disaster relief re-lief and planning; Both Sheriff Nelson and Deputy Craw met with the Board separately on clearance clear-ance to mount lights and radio belonging to Minersville Miners-ville Town on the Deputy's car. Deputy Craw also wanted want-ed a raise in wages; Authorized Wayne C rook and Daisel Robbins to attend UofU school on Alcohol and Drugs; and Hired Lyle W. Giroux under the WIN Program. |
