Show Five Teachers Added To County Slate Five new teachers were employed em-ployed by the Beaver County Board of Education during the past week, filling all vacancies except a math-science teacher at Beaver High. New teachers include Franklin Frank-lin D. Williams, Belknap; Max-ine Max-ine Hortton, Minersville; Nina Louise Williams, Beaver High Girls P E; and Harriet Peterson, Milford Elementary. A meeting of all Beaver District Dis-trict faculty members has been called for August 27th, in Beaver. Beav-er. On August 28th a conservation conserva-tion workshop for county teachers teach-ers will be held under sponsorship sponsor-ship of the Forest Service, and will include a tour of the Beaver Beav-er Mountains. A driver training course will be sponsored in both high schools by Bradshaw Chevrolet Co. of Cedar City, it was announced. an-nounced. At Beaver High, registration day will be Friday, Aug. 30th. The eleventh and twelfth grades will register from 9 to 12 o'clock, and ninth and tenth from 1 to 3:30. The Miersville bus will run on that day. The Beaver High lunch room will open on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Milford High students will hold registration for Junior High students on Friday, Aug. 30, at & a. m., and for senior high students at 9 a. m. Saturday, Satur-day, Aug. 31. |
