Show SOUTH MILFORD FAIR TO BE HELD AT HIGH SCHOOL LABOR DAY The fourth annual" South Milford Mil-ford Fair will be held in the High School Shop and at the Fairgrounds, Monday, Sept. 2. Exhibits may be viewed from 10 a. m. to 9 p. m. Entries will be accepted on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 6 o'clock, and from 8 until 1C Monday morning. All exhibitors exhibit-ors must register their entries at the door. Highlight of the fair will be the cherry pie baking contest. The annual calf prize drawing draw-ing for all livestock exhibitors up to 16 years of age will be held at the race track in the afternoon, and youngsters who entetr pets will be eligible for a pet prize drawing. Exhibitors will enter flowers, flow-ers, vegetables, grains hobbies, 4-H exhibits, articles made by children in the Primary, articles sewed during the past year, needlework, canned fruits and vegetables, baked goods house plants, antiques, etc. j Another feature will be a fancy cake contest. Persons entering baked goods who wish to donate them to the fair should indicate their desire when the product is registered. Girls who plan to enter the cherry pie baking contest must register with Joan Mc-Knight, Mc-Knight, telephone DU 7-2653, before Saturday night. Young exhibitors between the ages o'f 6 and 16 who enter cattle, cat-tle, sheep, horses, pigs, or 4-H1 members exhibiting rabbits or chickens are eligible for the calf drawing, but must be willing will-ing to donate the first female offspring to the fair, as a prize for a contest in later years.
