Show BEAVER JAYCEES PLAN 'FOLLIES' FOR LABOR DAY Plans are being, completed for the annual Jaycee Follies on Labor Day, it was announced today by Hal Smith, president of the civic organization. Highlighting the event will be the annual program in the High School auditorium at 8 p. m., with a "bigger and better" bet-ter" show promised and a repeat re-peat of last year's capacity crowd expected. Acts being polished up for the follies include Old Time Vaudeville Acts, the Devil-ettes twirling team; sneak prevue of Jaycee Fall Fashions, and many other interesting and hilarious acts featuring top entertainers of this area. Also planned is a renewal of the popular Flower Show and Art Exhibit, from 6 to 8 p. m., with the flower show under direction di-rection of Mrs. Elva Hodges, and Mrs. Margery Mackerell in charge o'f the art exhibit. Persons wishing to exhibit flowers or objects of art should contact Mrs. Hodges or Mrs. Mackerell. Tickets may be obtained from any Jaycee. Proceeds from the entertainment will be used for the community Christmas celebration. |
