Show Seminary Notes BY SHERR1E GILLINS Last Saturday, Feb. 14, the Seminary Sem-inary held their Sweetheart Bali We had a wonderful floor show. These who took part were Shcrrie and Elaine Gillins, who sang thu theme song, "Let Me Call You Sweetheart"; Margaret Whittaker, a reading; Genevra Mcintosh, a pantomime; Robert Merryweather, 'trumpet solo; Doug Killarn, song; Marlene Martin, piano solo; Marsha Mar-sha Smith, reading, and all-girl dance, Lola Lamb, Marie Barton, Jean Norton, Sharon Nichols, Sammy Bclliston, Pamela Edwards, Ed-wards, Carla McCulley, Emma Jo Bown, Given Allied, Linda Wil- liams, Vickie .Stewart, Carolyn Bailey. Master of ceremonies was Donald Munk. Roger Myers was crowned king, Terry Fisher, queen; Joe Puffer, prince, and Louise Gillins, princess. Sunday, Feb. 22, the Seminary presented the program in the Second Sec-ond Ward sacrament meeting. Terry Fisher, seminary, president, presi-dent, was in charge. Margaret Whittaker spoke on "How Can An Ancient Book Help Us in Our Modern Mod-ern Ways"; Sherrie and Helen Jean Gillins sang a duet, Roger Myers a vocal solo, and Sandra Beard an accordion solo. Other talks were by Dale Gillins, "What Are the Values of a Study of the New Testament," and Susan McCulley, Mc-Culley, "Plow Can Seminary Prepare Pre-pare Us for Later Life?" Douglas Hardy gave the invocation, invoca-tion, and Darrell Roberts pronounced pro-nounced the benediction. |
