Show TIGERS TAKE 1-POINT VICTORY FROM BEAVERS By Brent Cartwright Beaver and Milford met last Friday Fri-day for the last time this season in league play, in the Beaver gym. Milford got the jump on the Beavers when they made the first basket of the game. From then on, it was a very exciUng, hard-fought game with each team having to work for the baskets they gained. Thruout the game neither team was ahead more than six points. When the first quarter ended Beaver was iir the lead by three points, 17 to 14. A lot of Milford's points were made on foul shots. The Tigers had many more foul chances than the Beaver, and the Beaver squad outscored the Tigers from the field, 21 baskets to 19. When the first half was over, BHS was still ahead one point. The third quarter ended with Beaver ahead two points, 43 to 41. When the final quarter started both teams were working as har.1 as ever and Milford went ahead six points for the first time in the game. Beaver soon caught up and from then until the end of the game the score was very close. It could have been either team's game and Milford happened to be one point ahead when the .buzzer sounded.
