Show Services Held for Mrs. Swindlehurst Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Swindlehurst, who died Thursday of last week, were held Monday, Feb. 23, in the -Milford LDS Church, under 'direction of Counselor Coun-selor Dwight Carter. The prayer at the mortuary was offered by Arthur Blackner oi Beaver. The invocation was by LaMar Grimshaw. Musical numbers were a vocal duet by Duard Nay and Gladys Whittaker, accompanied iby Mr-. Edna Nichols, and a vocal solo by Dan Ferguson, accompanied by Mrs. Dora Pool. Speakers were Mrs1. Fred O'Leary, who gave a tribute from the Daughters of Utah Pioneers; Mrs. Dorothy Terry read the obituary, obitu-ary, and Bishop Edgar C. Edwards made appropriate remarks. Leon Jones pronounced the benediction. ben-ediction. The grave, in Mountain1 View Cemetery at Beaver, was dedicated dedicat-ed by M. J. Warr. Out of town relatives attending the services included Mr. and Mrs. Earl Swindlehurst, Winnemucca, Nev.; 'Mrs. Katie McDonald, of Sparks, Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Ar-nold Swindlehurst, Boulder City, Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Law, Delta; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Smith, Thomas Thom-as Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Gib Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Smith, Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Warr, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Riley, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Atkin, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Swindlehurst Swin-dlehurst and son Jay, Miss Janie Law, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Paice, and Mr. and Mrs. Burnett Swindlehurst, Swin-dlehurst, Beaver. |
