Sports Editor The Weber State women's track team culminated a very successful indoor season as they captured the Mountain West Athletic Conference championship in Bozeman, Montana. This was the first title ever in any sport by a woman's team at Weber in the MWAC. The All-Conference team from Weber con- sisted of Connie Washington, Shirley Kay Wilcots, Camille Davis, Becky Wayment, DeAnn Edmonston, Lori Tolley, Valynn Spafford and Chris Avis. For his efforts, coach Jim Blaisdell was named MWAC Coach of the Year for the indoor season. During the indoor season the Wildcats established new school records in ten of the fifteen events, and they have set at least WSC records in eight events during the outdoor season. With the team made up of mostly freshmen and sophomores, and no graduating seniors, the women's track program should be in good shape for years to come.
