A Woman Sold at Auction. A woman known as Margaret Con-nette Con-nette was sold at auction within a block of the federal building at Galveston, Gal-veston, Tex., Monday night for SH0. The police and federal authorities are searching for the parties involved. The woman is said to have been imported im-ported from Belgium, together with" a lot of other Belgian and French women and was under contract to the man who sold her. United States Immigrant Immi-grant Inspector Levy is working on the case.
