Show TOQUERYILLE S Mrs. Rowena W. Slack Reporter - t The Sarah Willis chapter of the D. U. P. met Friday at the home of Mrs. J. T. Beatty. Mesdames Rowena W. Slack and Ruth Naegle assisted her. Miss Lula Slack left Saturday for Los Angeles for a two weeks' visit. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bunker and family spent the week end at the home of Mrs. Bunker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Slack. Mrs. William Bringhurst returned return-ed Tuesday from Los Angeles, where she had been visiting the past three weeks. George Slack and Ellis Smith left Monday for Sun Valley, where they have employment for the summer. Mrs. Walter Beatty returned Saturday from Los Angeles, where she visited the past two weeks Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kemp and family are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Higbee. Wednesday, Mr. Kemp is going to put a stucco finish on the church building. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Dodge Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. John Maxwell and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Boner of Cedar City. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Slack last Sunday were Maxine Slack and Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Adams of Cedar City. Mrs. L o r e n Bringhurst and daughter, Connie, have gone with Mr. Bringhurst, who is out south of Hurricane. Mrs. Shirley Bower of Cedar City is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Olds. Mrs. Artie Davis and Mrs. Pearl Henroid of LaVerkin spent Friday here visiting friends. |
