Show Miss Beulah Smith and Marion J. Graff Marry In L. D. S. Temple The St. George Temple furnished the setting Saturday, Nov. 8, for the early afternoon marriage ceremony cere-mony uniting Miss Beulah Smith, daughter of Mrs. Walter F. Smith of this city, and Marion J. Graff, son of Bishop Henry Graff of Santa Clara. Pres. Harold S. Snow officiated in the presence of a large group of relatives and intimate friends. Immediately following the ceremony cere-mony the wedding party were entertained en-tertained at the St. George South ward chapel at an informal reception recep-tion with nearly 60 relatives and friends attending. A plate dinner was served in the Relief Society dining hall with the bride's aunt, Miss Deola Seegmiller of Ogden, in charge. For the reception the bride wore her wedding dress of white slipper satin, a floor-length veil of white silk and lace. She carried car-ried a boquet of white chrysanthemums, chrysan-themums, and was unattended. Here from out of town to attend at-tend the marriage was the bride's grandmother, Lois B. Smith and daughter, Sadie S. Graves and Jay Seegmiller of Salt Lake City, Miss Deola Seegmiller of Ogden, Mrs. Roscoe Anderson, Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Pratt Smith and Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Thompson of Cedar City, and Miss Evelyn Smith, sister of the bride, from Provo. The entire group returned home Saturday evening and Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Graff has been the guest at several entertainments during the past week. On Thursday evening eve-ning the girl friends of the bride held a personal shower for her at the home of Mrs. Anson Call Jr., with two dozen attending. On Friday ' afternoon, Mrs. 'Landon Frei of Santa Clara, and Mrs. Jimmie Sammons of Mesquite, sisters sis-ters of the groom, entertained at a miscellaneous shower at the Frei home for Santa Clara relatives rela-tives and friends. And on Friday evening, Mrs. Wayne C. Gardner, Mrs. William Rogers and Mrs. Glenn E. Snow entertained a large group of friends at the Gardner home. At each affair the bride was presented with numerous gifts. Both Mr. and Mrs. Graff were students of the Dixie junior college. col-lege. They returned Tuesday evening eve-ning from a brief honeymoon to Boulder Dam and will reside in St. George where Mr. Graff is employed by O. P. Skaggs. |
