Show w Athena Club Holds Pot-Luck Pot-Luck Supper On Red Ilill The recreation center on the Red Hill above St. George furnished a delightful setting for Monday evening's eve-ning's Athena club pot-luck supper sup-per and frolic, which was attended at-tended by husbands, partners and guests of the members, with 42 surrounding the line of lunch tables for the meal. After the supper a large camp-fire camp-fire furnished light for the program, pro-gram, which included a variety of clever stunts and readings by Mrs. George Brooks, Mrs. M. L. McAllister and Mrs. John W. Pace; a vocal trio by Mesdames Roxey S. Romney, Jos. T. Atkin and Rodney A. Ashby, as sung by the club representatives rep-resentatives at their recent district dis-trict federated club conference in Panguitch; and community singing sing-ing to the accordian played, by a guest, Joseph Neiderer. The concluding feature of the program was the official turning over of the coming year's program pro-gram to the recently elected president, presi-dent, Mrs. William Brooks and her associates, Mrs. Jos. T. Atkin and Mrs. John Whipple, vice presidents, presi-dents, and Mrs. A. K. Hafen, secretary. |
