Show Fire Proclamation Covers All Land In State WHEREAS, it has become advisable advis-able to designate all the land within the State of Utah into a fire district in order to more effectively ef-fectively protect the same from damage by fire. NOW THEREFORE, I, Paul M. Dunn, chief forester-fire warden of the State of Utah, by virtue of the authority vested in me, i and with the approval of the Board of Forestry and Fire Control, Con-trol, do hereby proclaim and declare de-clare that all the lands within the State of Utah shall be created into in-to Fire Districts; excepting only lands lying within the boundaries of incorporated cities and towns. Each county shall represent a fire district and shall be under full force and effect of laws pertaining pertain-ing to such fire districts; and I further declare and proclaim that all of the above created Fire Districts Dis-tricts are hereby declared closed beginning May 1, 1942, and ending end-ing October 31, 1942. That during said closed period as provided by the laws of the State of Utah it shall be unlawful un-lawful to set on fire or cause to ' be set on fire any inflammable materials on any forest bi brush land, grass or range land grain, stubble or hay land, or to set any fire for the purpose ol clearing either his own or the property of another within said First Districts without first curing written permit from the chief fire warden or one of hi deputies and complying fully with the terms and conditions thereof. Providing, however, it is to be construed that this will not prevent pre-vent the burning of weeds on fenced cultivated lands or aion-fenced aion-fenced lines, canals or irrigation ditches or the building of controlled con-trolled camp fires, provided due care and caution are used in the control thereof.
