Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Lenzy Hoopes Reporter Mrs. Bert Dewey of Susanville, Calif., who has been here the past week on business returned to her home Thursday. Mrs. Iola Perkins and Mrs. Leavitt from Overton and Mr. and Mrs. Clawson Prince of Las Vegas were visitors at the H. W. Prisbrey home Sunday. Miss Maudie Prisbrey returned to Las Vegas and Overton to visit with friends and relatives. Miss Shirley Thomas of Beaver arrived to spend a month with her sister, Mrs. Lenzy Hoopes while the latter is recovering from a broken leg. Miss Karen Hannig left by bus Tuesday morning for Los Angeles to spend her vacation. Mrs. R. C. Connell and family, Mrs. Keith Walker and son, Booth Turnbeaugh, all of Las Vegas, spent Sunday here. Mrs. Margia Turnbeaugh and grandchildren, Alene and Theo, returned Thursday from San Francisco. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Lamb of Orderville spent Sunday with their parents, Mr. and' Mrs. George Hall. Cal Hall and Charley Averett returned from Monticello Friday, where they have been employed. They left again Monday for em-1 ployment at Cedar. Miss Ferrol Hall, daughter of Bert Hall, is employed in St. George at the Big Hand cafe. |
