Show Many Attend Aviation Meet At College Tuesday A good -sized crowd is reported to have attended a meeting held here Tuesday night, May 26th in the college to hear Lieut. Charles L. Young, president of the State Aviation Cadet examining board, explain the new policy, which the -Government has now instituted regarding re-garding those who desire to enlist en-list . in the Air Corps and then continue their studies. Lieutenant Young explained that under the present regulations it would be possible for a youth to 'sign up and then be permitted to finish his schooling. This could extend to four years for a high school youth. He explained that every effort was being made to secure the services of as many youth as possible in the Air Corps, but he stated that at the present time the training facilities were behind (Continued on page four) Aviation Meet (Continued from first page) the number of enlistments and that it was necessary for many to wait their turn before they could receive the training. An examining board will be sent into southern Utah between June 10 and 15. The exact date has not been determined at this time. Those desiring to enlist are asked to contact this group at that time.
